World Cup finals

January 3rd, 2010

The World Cup finals were held last weekend in Poverty Bay in the intense heat of the Gisborne sun. Seremonie VDL finished 6h place in the World Cup series, which was run over 8 rounds. It was very close for 4th, 5th and 6th position, with only 1 point seperating each place. Britannica MVNZ had an extremely good show with winning both his sporthorse classes for 4 yr olds and then took the top honours of Champion Sporthorse for Dressage and Reserve Champion for Jumping. Gisborne proved to be a special show for the team, especially Ike, with the return to competition of his beloved stallion, Senator VDL. Senator has been out for over a year with an injury but looked in great form by placing 4th in the 1.25m Championships. Pictured is Britannica MVNZ and Bronson MVNZ, 1st and 2nd in the 4 yr old sporthorse class.
