Grace (now Casa Rosa MVNZ) is a tall brown filly, with long legs, good shoulder and strong topline. Well built, scopey type with very correct movement and strong character! A definite jumping prospect!

Dam, Charming Princess competed successfully up to 1.45m and has now been retired to the broodmare herd. Princess was a very careful, classical jumper with an outstanding jump technique, which seems to be coming through in all of her progeny. Sire, Cordeur died in 1995. He was approved in Holstein in 1986, and achieved an outstanding stallion performance test (in performance class 1) in 1987 and performed covering duty in Baden-Wiirttemberg from 1987 to 1993, from where he was sent to stud for another two seasons in Oldenburg. Cordeur won show jumper competitions up to intermediate class and qualified for the Federal German Riding Horse Championships. Following this, he was further promoted in dressage.

Sire of Casa Rosa MVNZ, Pico Bello, was imported to New Zealand as a 5 yr old to begin a career in showjumping as well as standing at stud. He was campaigned in sport by Mount View rider Ike Unsworth, very successfully up to Grand Prix level. He was then sold to Australia, continuing his success with many wins and placings in World Cup and Grand Prix classes under David Dobson.

Pico Bello’s sire, Calvados is bred from the best of French Performance stock. The sire of Calvados, Uriel produced more than 100 International SJ horses. The dam of Calvados, Gold Rose was a member of the French SJ Team and won many notable Grand Prix. Pico Bello’s dam, Zellie is by Joost, the Holsteiner stallion that is one of the founders of Dutch Show Jumping breeding. In combination with Abgar, as seen in Pico Bello’s breeding, Joost has produced a large number of International Show Jumping horses.
