Jakarma (was Dolche MVNZ) is an elegant filly with a lot of presence. Large ground covering stride with great suspension. Modern type with correct conformation and beautiful head. Bred from superior sport horse bloodlines, she is destined to be a superb athlete.

Dam Charming Princess, competed successfully up to 1.45m and has now been retired to the broodmare herd. Princess was a very careful, classical jumper with an outstanding jump technique, which seems to be coming through in all of her progeny. Sire, Cordeur died in 1995. He was approved in Holstein in 1986, and achieved an outstanding stallion performance test (in performance class 1) in 1987 and performed covering duty in Baden-Wiirttemberg from 1987 to 1993, from where he was sent to stud for another two seasons in Oldenburg. Cordeur won show jumper competitions up to intermediate class and qualified for the Federal German Riding Horse Championships. Following this, he was further promoted in dressage.

Jakarma is by Orame from VDL Stud. Orames sire and both grand sires jumped internationally and icons of jumper breeding. His dam the ‘elite’ mare Iramee has the same bloodlines as the infamous mare Retina Z, as well as other famous relatives from that lineage such as: Robin Z, Rinetou Z, Jalisco, Galoubet and Renate la Silla.

Orame became Champion of the Stallion Selection in Den Bosch at the age of 3 and Champion of the Stallion Test with high marks for the basic gaits and the jumping sub-divisions: 7, 7, 8, 7, 8, 8, 9, 8. He is indeed the first stallion that has become the Champion in the Stallion Selection and in the Stallion Test! In his report,it was stated that Orame was said to be very talented as a dressage horse as well as a show jumper and that he jumped with scope, good technique, a lot of power, and is very careful. In the stallion competition he was placed very high several times and ended as the Vice Champion.

Orame’s offspring are showing a lot of promise. A daughter Onosa won the mare test in Sweden, another Vamina VDL placed 8th in the final of the three year old Championship at the ‘Paardendagen’ in Holland, Viellefond was Reserve Champion of the Scottish free jumping Championship for 3 year olds. Another daughter Unity was #1 in the National top 10 for free jumping during the NAWPN inspections in the USA and Vibrant LPR was 3rd in this National top 10. His progeny are beautiful horses with very good conformation, lovely movement with a lot of suppleness. They are easy to ride and are jumping with good technique and lots of scope.
