This outstanding combination of Chin Chin and Charming Princess has given us another superb horse! This top quality gelding is the complete package with “look at me” presence. He shows exceptional uphill movement in all three gaits which are powerful and really cover the ground. This gelding is bound to turn heads when he enters the jumping arena! He is the full sibling to Cervelt MVNZ and Gabbie.

His dam Charming Princess was imported from Belguim in 2002 and was purchased not only as a breeding proposition, but also as a potential competition horse. As a foal, she was Champion Filly of Belgium. Her dam also produced Premier Cru, who competed in the Sydney Olympics for Bulgeria with Rossen Raitchev. After a successful show jumping career competing up to 1.45m, Charming Princess has now been retired to the broodmare herd.

Chin Chin is one of the most successful performance sires in the world. His offspring are dominating the keurings with many top placings. Chin Chin had a very impressive jumping career with his former owner and rider Jaime Azcarraga from Mexico. This combination participated for more than five years at international level. In 1988 Chin Chin won five consecutive times in the North American League on the World Cup circuit and competed in Seoul at the Olympic Games where he placed sixth individually. Four years later, he competed again at the Olympics in Barcelona. In 1990, Chin Chin and Jaime Azcarraga started in the first edition of the World Equestrian Games in Stockholm. In 1989 and 1990, he was placed in the final of the World Cup in both Dortmund and Tampa. He also competed at international jumping competitions during which the scope, character and the suppleness of Chin Chin always aided his determined but amateur rider.

The offspring of Chin Chin have been very successful and include Ta Belle van Sombeke who won the Grand Prix of Saint Tropez and Zuidlaren, Triomph de Muze who won the Grand Prix of Lons le Saunier and Tedechine Sept who placed several times in Grand Prix with Eddie Macken. Other successful offspring are Querly Chin, Phin Phin, Tolano vant Riethof and Riot Gun van de Padenborre.

Three daughters were selected in 2006 for the final of the National Free Jumping Championship, daughter Welena VDL became National Champion of free jumping, also the reserve-Champion was a daughter of Chin Chin. In the National Championship of 3 year old mares the 2nd, 3rd and 7th place were for daughters of Chin Chin. On the Stallion Selection show his sons impressed, Zegna became Reserve Champion of the stallion selections and 3 others sons were selected for the stallion test.
