Layla MVNZ (formerly La Serena MVNZ) is a beautiful mare with a lot of quality. She has three very good paces and is very trainable. Her lineage boasts impressive jumping and eventing bloodlines. Layla is owned and competed by Caroline Sutherland. The pair have many wins and placings up to 1.20m.

Breeding

Dam Delaney LS is by Distelfink, a Hanoverian stallion by Diskus. Distelfink was licensed as a breeding stallion in Germny prior to importing into New Zealand in 1982. Distelfink produced Horse of the Year Winners, Young Horse of the Year, Show Hunter of the Year and national champions in dressage and eventing. He was 3rd on the WBCSH/FEI sires list for event horses in 1997/98 season.

Sire Cervelt MVNZ has been successfully competed by Caroline Price in Australia where he had been selected into the Equestrian Australia 9 yr old squad before he was sold at in 2015.

Grandam Charming Princess was “Champion of Foals” in Belgium before being imported to NZ. After a successful show jumping career competing up to 1.50m, she was retired to the broodmare herd producing outstanding progeny. With Cadet MVNZ, Cervelt MVNZ, Finn MVNZ, Gina MVNZ and Octavia MVNZ, every horse from this line has shown top talent and ability over the fence.
