Carrado is an athletic stallion and an outstanding example of his Holsteiner genetics. Carrado's dam Noah comes from one of the oldest and most proven motherlines in Holstein. He was imported from Belgium as a yearling.

Carrado is an impressive type with good expression and is stamping his progeny. Carrado has an incredible jump with huge scope. He is athletic and careful. His progeny are proving to be outstanding show jumpers with his oldest daughter Miranda MVNZ now competing at Mini Prix level. Carrado has passed on his scope and athleticism. One of his first colt foals gained Top Colt of the 2013 Holsteiner Classification Tour. In the NZ Holsteiner classification tour the following year, his progeny were awarded top filly and top colt.

Carrado was based in Victoria Australia with Brook Dobbin. Now back in NZ he is currently competed by Daniel Blundell and has started the 2022/2023 season with winning the 1.30-1.40m class at Woodhill Sands.

With 83% Carrado was the top stallion and overall top scorer of the Australian Classification Tour 2017. He was awarded with a Premium/Excellence Rating.
