Mahe is an exceptional gelding with loads of presence, superior movement with a wonderful ground covering canter and powerful trot. He was produced by Lee Smith before selling to the Baker family where he progressed from Junior Rider to Young Rider to Grand Prix horse under Ike Baker.

His full sister Escarda MVNZ was retained as breeding mare and produced great eventing prospects.

• 02/2020 – winning the 1.40m Grand Prix and 4th in the Young Rider at Feilding February Show

• 09/2019 – 3rd in the Young Rider at Feilding Spring Show

• 09/2018 – 4th in the Young Rider Series 1.25 - 1.35m and 5th in the FEI NZL Cat A World Jumping Challenge at Taupo Spring Show

• 02/2018 – 2nd in the Young Rider Series and 5th in the Mini Prix 1.35m at Taihape Annual Showjumping Championship

• 02/2017 – 2nd in the Junior Rider 1.15-1.20m at Manawatu & West Coast A&P Show

Sire Pico Bello was imported to New Zealand as a 5 yr old to begin a career in showjumping as well as standing at stud. He was very successfully campaigned in sport by Mount View rider Ike Unsworth up to Grand Prix level. He was then sold to Australia, continuing his success with many wins and placings in World Cup and Grand Prix classes under David Dobson.

Grandsire Calvados is bred from the best of French Performance stock. The sire of Calvados, Uriel produced more than 100 International SJ horses.

Dam Abby was purchased from successful sporthorse breeding stud, Cheleken Equestrian.
